Privacy and Personal Data Protection Policy
- This Privacy and Personal Data Protection Policy describes the treatment that our institution (hereinafter “VALENCIA”) provides to the personal data it collects from the users of our web portal and mobile applications. This policy is in accordance with the provisions contained in the Personal Data Protection Law, Law No. 29733, its Regulations and the Information Security Directive issued by the competent authority.
- For purposes of visiting our web portal and our mobile applications you are not required to provide personal data. However, in cases where you request services that VALENCIA provides by such means, or participate in events promoted by VALENCIA, among others, VALENCIA may require specific personal information necessary for such purpose. Such information may include name, ID number, e-mail address and telephone number. Also, when the nature of the request so requires, and to the extent strictly necessary, VALENCIA may require other personal information.
- Sending information for the purpose of requesting services, participation in events promoted by VALENCIA, among others, on our web portal or mobile applications represents the express consent of the holder for the collection of their personal data and for its processing for the specific purposes that motivated its collection.
- The personal data provided by the user must be, under his responsibility, true, complete, accurate, current and correspond to his true identity.
- Any kind of damage or harm, direct or indirect, that may arise for VALENCIA or for third parties as a consequence of the partial or total breach of the obligation referred to in the previous point will be the sole and exclusive responsibility of the user who provided the information.
- The personal data provided will be processed solely for the specific purpose for which they were provided.
- VALENCIA will not use the user's personal data for any purpose other than that expressly provided for in this Privacy Policy, unless it is a purpose expressly permitted or required by the applicable regulations in force or unless VALENCIA has previously obtained the user's consent.
- VALENCIA will not share or transfer any of the user's personal data to third parties without the prior express consent of the user, except when such communication is required by law, by court order or by a competent authority.
- The VALENCIA web portal and its mobile applications may provide links to other web pages that are not part of the VALENCIA web portal. It is the responsibility of the user to review the privacy policies on such web pages to verify the level of protection of his personal data in that environment, which is beyond the responsibility of VALENCIA.
- The user may exercise their rights of Information, Access, Rectification, Cancellation, Revocation, Opposition, etc. (ARCO) to the use of their personal data, in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Law, Law No. 29733. In this sense, the user has the right, among others, to access their personal information, to request the rectification of inaccurate data and to revoke their consent to the processing of the same; also, they may request the deletion of their data or oppose the processing of the same, even when these are no longer necessary for the purposes for which they were collected.
- The exercise of these rights is free of charge. To do so, you can send an e-mail to valencia@valencialawoff.com.pe attaching a copy of the identity document (DNI/CE/Passport) that proves your ownership of the personal data in respect of which you will exercise your right. You may also do so at the VALENCIA, located at Av. Angamos Oeste 1475, district of Miraflores, department of Lima. If you use a legal representative, he/she must be accredited as such. The attention of the request will be carried out according to the terms provided in the personal data protection regulations.
- This site may use “cookies” in connection with certain features or functions. Cookies are specific types of information that a website transmits to a user's computer hard drive for record-keeping purposes. Cookies may serve to facilitate the use of a web site. VALENCIA does not use cookies to obtain personally identifiable information from a user's computer that was not originally sent as part of the cookie. VALENCIA cannot control and is not responsible for the privacy policies of other sites and recommends that users are aware of this and read the privacy statements on each web site visited. This privacy policy applies only to information collected by VALENCIA.
- VALENCIA reserves the right to modify its Privacy and Personal Data Protection Policy and the notice through which it discloses it, in order to adapt it to the changes that the current regulatory framework may require. It is the user's responsibility to keep informed of such policy, for which purpose, every time he/she uses our web portal or mobile applications, he/she must consult our Privacy and Personal Data Protection Policy.
